550 Access denied Invalid HELO name

If you're getting this error when sending out email, please double check your email settings by doing the following steps:

For outlook

  1. Click Tools then Account Settings...
  2. Select the email account and click Change
  3. Click on "More settings"
  4. Select "Outgoing Server" tab
  5. Tick "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"
  6. Select "Use same settings as my incoming email server"
  7. Click Ok
  8. Press Next
  9. Lastly, press Finish

For MAC/iOS - make sure you have outgoing mail authentication turned ON and that BOTH the user name and password are entered.  iOS says you don't need the password - YOU DO.

Once these steps are done, try to send the email again. Please open a ticket if the problem persists.
