Unfortunately, the free privacy protection promotion is finally coming to an end. As of October 6th, privacy protection will cost an additional $3 per year on top of the domain registration/renewal fees. This ONLY affects domains registered/transferred/renewed AFTER October 6th with privacy protection. If you renew your domain on October 5th, you won't get hit with the new charge until next year. If you are unsure whether or not you have privacy protection on your domain, you can log into the client area at scarletsweb.com and check under your domains. You may also open a ticket from the same place to ask us if you are not sure. Unfortunately, this fee is not being imposed by us, we just have to pass it along. We do everything we can to minimize your costs.
