This announcement pertains to clients using Microsoft FrontPage only. If you do not use FrontPage, please disregard.
As of late last year, Microsoft has defined this software as legacy software and will no longer offer any type of support. Scarlet's Web will continue to offer Microsoft FrontPage extensions with your hosting account if you choose to use Frontpage, however, we will no longer be able to offer technical support beyond basic help.
We had an incident where FrontPage server extensions had to be reinstalled on one of our machines yesterday. Luckily, they were reinstalled and are working fine. However, we have been told by Microsoft and our programmers that they will no longer troubleshoot installations or issues that may arise in the future.
What does this mean for you? You may continue to use Microsoft FrontPage as you always have, but we strongly urge you to consider upgrading to another software package. Even though we have no intention to do so, at some point we may be forced to stop offering FrontPage extensions on the server if they become buggy.
